Senate passes bill to fund government into December, 90-6, ahead of five-week recess

The Senate voted 90-6 early Saturday to pass the bipartisan continuing resolution negotiated by Appropriations Chair Susan Collins and Vice Chair Patty Murray, funding the government at current levels through December 11 and blocking OMB's proposed grants rule.
